New Denmark, WI is a small town located in the heart of Wisconsin. The population of New Denmark is approximately 5,000 people and the town is governed by a mayor and an eight-member Town Council. The Town Council meets monthly to consider issues of local importance such as taxes, economic development, public safety, and infrastructure maintenance. The citizens of New Denmark are encouraged to participate in the political process through attendance at Town Council meetings and involvement with their elected officials. Local elections for mayor and council members take place every two years, giving residents the opportunity to have their voices heard and make their opinions known.
